Our self catering guest house is located in the west of Mauritius, on the sunset coast. Its rooms and apartments are is equipped with a fully furnished kitchen and provide all the amenities for a leisurely beach holiday.
- For family holidays La Mariposa offers two apartments featuring several rooms, with a lovely Ocean view and a private terrace.
- The kitchens are well equipped and feature a microwave, a refrigerator as well as tea- and coffee making facilities; a grill can be provided on request.
- All rooms are air-conditioned, and are cleaned by housekeeping on a daily basis.
- The pool is surrounded with sunbathing area, and the adjoining open air breakfast area with chairs and tables.
- Breakfast is served every morning on the terrace by the pool.
- Our front desk can provide a therapist for massage treatments as well as taxi services and boat excursions.

Our Bed and Breakfast is located on the white sandy beach of La Preneuse, about 70 minutes drive from the airport, in the warm and sunny west of Mauritius, right on the sunset coast.
We provide 14 studio rooms and 2 apartments which we have tastefully furnished and equipped with anything you need to spend a leisurely time and a great beach vacation. They all have been fitted with either a double or two single beds. We have put great emphasis on the beds to be as big and comfortable, as if they were our own.
A small but very well equipped kitchen with microwave, refrigerator and tea/coffeemaker as well as a shower/WC complete our range of services. Complimentary breakfast is served every morning out in the garden or on the terrace in the shade of the breathtaking silhouette of the Black River Mountain range with Morne Brabant Mountain looming in the background.
La Preneuse is an authentic small village, where fishing boats a standing feature and the lagoon in front of our guest house has been declared a conservation area for its outstanding beauty. Our beach invites for swimming, snorkelling as well as lazy sunbathing and often the dolphins come to frolic in the waters right off La Mariposa.
